Please visit us to see a new paintings of our favorite Monkey World’s chronicler Mathew Porter. The works displayed in Frank and Dunya are pieces featured in his 2008 calendar and sneak peek images of his newest children’s book, Monkey World: A - Z of Occupations.The book will be released in May of 2008. His unique, laconic animation style, influenced by Japanese anime, became very recognizable and noticeable after he first introduced his Monkey Genre to Seattle artlovers. Matthew Porter graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1997. Soon after he hopped on a plane and landed in America where he's been ever since. Matthew has dabbled with sideshow banners, Mexican wrestlers,giant robot cats, an animal alphabet, bird and blossoms images, and now his Monkey World series.
