I was doubtful

I am brand new to biznik and was a real doubter of online networking. I thought the magic of my website alone would get me the business I need, cute I know. I promise despite my jaded logic I am a smart, young businesswomen...But much to my shock I have already received messages from some of you and have set up my first meeting. I am really excited about opening new avenues for my business and just getting to know those who have the same business philosophies as me. So what is it that I do? Well I decided to live by the motto, do what you are and I am a planner. I have been a corporate event planner for a few years now working for one company and doing all of their marketing and event planning. I just recently decided to go into business for myself and it's a little scary. So now I am an official event planner and wedding coordinator and am loving what I am doing. I am looking to meet people in opposite industries who can share networking avenues, those in the same industry to share advice, experiences, and networking, and I am also looking for a mentor.
