What Eric does

I am a management and technology consultant. I listen to sponsor and other stakeholder needs, then define and execute strategies and projects to solve the problem or capitalize on the opportunity. I like to use technology in my work and generally prefer to implement a software solution to make the work tangible and/or sustainable.

What Eric does best

Interviewing, Project, and Product Management. I am best at understanding customer needs, the things that drive them, and finding creative solutions to solve, manage, or control the problem once and for all. I love to understand the intent and motivation behind what people are asking and then design a product based on that need.

What does Eric need?

I need to find other creative, forward-thinking people who want to change the world for the better. Green things, social-consciousness, community builders, process improvers, project leaders, web and communication technology specialists.

Education

MBA and MS in Information Systems from the University of Washington Business School (2006). BS in Business Administration with concentration in Management Information Systems from Western Washington University (2000). Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) (2005). Have studied and applied a lot of systems and process thinking throughout my career. At Siemens--for six years--I worked in their eProcesses, Business Process Engineering, and Quality Management groups. We had access to the world's best tools and thinkers in important frameworks like PMBOK, CMMi, ITIL, and Six Sigma.

Experience
