I am Principal and Owner of AFB Business Solutions, a management consultancy specializing in business financial management. AFB Business Solutions comes up beside the enterprise and provides strategic direction for successful execution of its mission.

Financial management is the strategic umbrella for strategic planning, financial and accounting solutions, and business practices and processes. These three elements of financial management work in tandem in the business environment for a successful and growing company. Without them working in tandem, the business could take the slippery slope downward.

Help clients succeed in the management of their businesses through having them focus more clearly on their mission (insight), develop better strategies, define measureable and attainable objectives (foresight), and exercise greater management over their finances (hindsight) and business infrastructure.

I provide accounting systems implementation, primarily with QuickBooks, train accounting staff, and develop accounting and business processes to successfully execute a sound financial management strategy.

As the Principal of AFB Business Solutions, I bring more than 30 years of experience to the challenges clients face in managing their businesses.

My early career started with Amdahl Corporation where I contributed as an engineering processes analyst and writer. I continued down that path with a few other firms, applying my knack for process improvements and ability to quickly assess business process challenges well before ISO and Sarbanes-Oxley existed.

Afterwards, I obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University in Financial and Business Management. This launched me into the financial arena where I started with Lockheed. I worked as a financial analyst on projects with revenues exceeding $100 million. After several years there of working in the industry and climbing the corporate ladder as an Accounting Manager and Controller, the entrepreneurial itch took me down the path of consulting until I formed AFB Business Solutions to provide proven and successful management practices grounded in the corporate environment for the clients AFB Business Solutions serves. AFB Business Solutions combines the expertise of financial and strategic management and business processes for enabling client businesses to be successful in reaching their markets and attaining their missions.
