In conjunction with my MS in architectural engineering, and building on my architectural experience, I design buildings that capture the imagination, express beauty and a sense of place, and touch lightly on the earth. I am especially passionate about working collaboratively to create projects that eloquently express how we conserve energy and water, and inhabit the land. I design projects which reflect their cultural and geographical context, are accessible and comprehensible to the user, relevant to their surroundings, and contribute to a sense of place rather than obeying a preconceived architectural agenda.

I've been working in architecture since getting my Masters in 1993. I've worked for notable Austin architects, as well as in Paris, France and Melbourne, Australia, on projects ranging from single-family residences to subway stations.
