I practice Chinese and Naturopathic medicine in Portland, Oregon. I am licensed as a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist.

I like to look at all the components of an individual's dis-ease, and find the 'big picture', like putting together the pieces of a puzzle. Funny. I never realized the possible future implications of my enjoyment of and engrossment in jigsaw puzzles when I was a kid.

I have also been told that I am very grounded and have a strong presence, which enables me to listen to and hear the essence of one's 'story' in a safe, loving, and non-judgmental manner.

I am currently working for someone else, in their clinic, but I really want to be able to open my own practice in the near future. I need help in getting started in my practice. I'll take any tips, support, and advice I can get!

I also need to find a way to blend the Naturopathic and Chinese medicines in an effective way. Right now they still feel compartmentalized, like I have to focus on either one or the other with my patients. Please help all of you who are doing both.
