  • Linda, Jen, Loren and Mike:

Thanks for all your great feedback (and your additional book recommendations)!

Of course, if we list all the great business books we have read.. then we would spend all our time reading about networking and not actually DO any networking and relationship building. :)

  • Dan:

    Great Article!

I was "invited to linkedin.com" awhile back but never thought much of "internet networking".

    I just joined Biznik recently

I wish I got involved years ago.

  • Excellent article!

I always explain to my clients how to improve their scores prior to putting their package together.

Another great source for clients to personally receive a credit score prior to us pulling a tri-merge report is www.myfico.com

    Thanks!

  • Good Afternoon:

Did I read your post correctly??

    You are promoting "cold calling"??

In today's business climate, why would anyone "cold call"

Let's see - Spend 2 hours calling business owners that are not just sitting at their desk waiting for a sales call. Make 200 phone calls, get 10 appointments, actually have 3 prospects keep the appointment...OR

Attend a networking event: Spend 1 hour, meet 20 business owners, follow-up appointment with 15 business owners.

Which scenario appears more efficient with your time and more respectful of your prospects' time?

    A no-brainer.

    Just my 2 dollars..

    Thanks.
