Long Term Care Ombudsman Program
I have been on the King County Long Term Care Advisory Council for the King County Long Term Care Ombudsman Program. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to be Advocates for the elderly. There are 100's of homes in King county. We can't reach them all. This is one program that keeps people in business but also reduces issues and litigation from clogging our courts. The Long Term Facilities are varied and generally love it when there is someone who is impartial to mediate issues. Plus, some residents just have the best life stories to share. If you or someone you know has a passion for working with people to make sure they have a great life. This is one of the most fulfilling volunteer programs. If your business in someway caters to this audience. Then it might be a great introduction to a lot of facilities you would other wise have access to. Thanks for your support of a worthy cause.
