  • Subversionz Media Open Studio Opportunity

In honor of opening our new shooting studio, Subversionz Media will be offering Open Studio Days. If you caught the video bug with all of the buzz around Shine and are looking for a cost effective way to create marketing videos or need some help starting a video blog or just want to play with ideas of what video can do for your company, we can help.

Reserve one hour of time at our Studio on one of our Open Studio days for only $250 and get full access to our studio, equipment, camera crew, and an editor for one hour. Spend as much of your hour filming or working with our editor to create professional quality videos for the web and we'll provide you with the final video file (or files) for posting on your website or YouTube or anywhere you would like to post your videos.

For June only, refer a friend and get $50 off of your reservation. You may reserve more than one hour if you would like more time to create your videos.

Contact me directly at goldie@subversionz.com for more details or for info on available dates/times to schedule your reservation.

  • Advice on Duct Tape Marketing Small Business Profiles and similar services

I came across the Duct Tape Marketing Small Business Profiles services for driving more local traffic to your site from search engines. http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/profile/

I'm wondering if anyone else has used this service and what kind of results they saw. Or if anyone uses something similar that they they would recommend as an alternative.

  • Making Things a Little More Animated

Apparently being snowed in during our white Christmas in Seattle wasn't all bad since it led me here.

My name is Goldie Jones, I'm the owner of Subversionz Media, a Seattle based video production and motion graphics company. I've created hundreds of videos and graphics packages for companies ranging from Microsoft and their partner companies to small businesses and local non-profit groups. I've been finding myself being caught up a little too much in the high tech industry recently and I'm really excited about this opportunity to get back in touch with the diversity that makes Seattle such an amazing place to be and the people that make that happen every day.

I'd be very interested in hearing how people in Seattle have been seeing companies use video and animation in their business, either for internal purposes as well as a part of their marketing strategy. Or I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about how I've seen video being used in the business world since we have long past the days of video being limited to broadcast commercials.

Also, I'm hoping to find two kinds of connections on Biznik.

    1) I'd like to find marketing and/or design professionals that don't currently offer video production or motion graphics services who would be interested in partnering with a video production company to expand their services to their clients.

    2) I'd like to connect with business owners in need of a video or animation to spice of their website or trade show or event or retail space or mailers or anything really since video has infiltrated so many spaces in our day to day life and only continues to find more places to spring to life.

Also, I'm more than happy to answer any questions about video and motion graphics, what it can do and where it can go.

You can also check at blog.subversionz.com for information on how to get the most out of your relationship with your video production company, and what exactly is motion graphics any way, and how can animation contribute to your brand identity.

    Take Care, Goldie Jones
