How can we get notified that someone's joined our group?

I am trying to tend the groups I have but I don't receive an email when there is activity in the group or someone's joined.

Also wondering when I will be able to receive an email from Biznik folks on my Blackberry and NOT have to log into the website. It postpones my reading and replying to Biznik contacts.
