Boston Area Folks?

Hey Guys -

Just wondering, is there any interest in a Boston area event? Would love the chance to do some face-to-face networking with beantown bizniks!

Also, if anyone visits the area shoot me a message! More than happy to have a good excuse for coffee and/or martinis!

IRC?

I was just wondering if there's a IRC channel for Biznik? I think it would be great to chat with people in "real time" and have almost like a virtual water cooler. You'd be amazed some of the thoughts I've had while chatting away with other entrepreneurs. Not sure if the owners have previously decided against this idea, but I figured I would throw it out there.

Developing a Website - Looking for your thoughts

Hi all :)

I'm developing a website (www.AVirtualEdge.com) and I'm looking for input from everyone - those of you who have built your own sites, those who have a site, etc.

Originally I had some flash templates that I was going to work with, however I just realized that editing flash is a little too advanced for me. Also, the time spent on learning to do so would be put the better use in sales and marketing ;-) So, I've decided to built a CSS based site.

With that being said, I have so many questions on the content that I should include. For those of you that track your statistics and page hits, which pages seem to get the most traffic? Which pages do visitors seem to spend most time on? Are things like Google AdWords worth the investment? What type of things should be in consideration in regards to SEO? Are contact forms usefull or is it better to supply an email link....or both? Any other thoughts you guys have to share would also be wonderful.
