  • All I can say is: come back soon! You are walking the talk and because of that you are such an inspiration.

  • What an accomplished and inspiring presenter! Now it is up to me to apply this information. Somehow it does not seem so 'mysterious' after listening to Steve. Thank you so much! ps. I sat next to a guy with the most intrusive after-shave. How about a chemical free meeting next time? I am luckily not allergic, but I know many are.

  • How refreshing to see that this point of view is becoming more mainstream. As an Emotional Freedom Technique practitoner, I deal with limiting beliefs on a regular basis. My compassion is constantly expanding as I see that many of us truly don't think we have a choice. After all, why would we choose something that makes us unhappy? Clearly it is not on a conscious level. But, like you, I know it can be brought up into the light of our own awareness. I have seen positive affirmation fail miserably - even well formulated ones. If the real affirmation underneath the nice, positive words are:'but I really don't deserve that' etc. I have some great tools that EFT has given me to deal with those limting beliefs.

  • Thank you for these excellent ideas. I will put them into practice and see what happens! ps. I just heard a story how cows who had been given names and more attention, yielded a large amount more milk then those who had not! Funny, but profound, don't you think? I don't want to insult the human race, but it seems like we all thrive on love and attention! pps. say hi to your wife - I am Norwegian.

  • I had to smile at the title of the book 'How to raise your likeability factor'. To me, the most essential question is: do we like ourselves? If the answer is negative, no one else will buy our fancy strategies. When we operate from authentic self acceptance, others respond automatically in a positive way.
Thank you so much all the information in this article. I admire anyone who can write well!

  • Thank you, I have also come to realize that gratitude is the key to success both personally and professionally. I would like to add this: give thanks for the things that didn't work out as well, or the people who made life just a little more difficult. There seems to be a deeper wisdom behind all things and you never know what you have been spared from!

  • Thank you Molly, I love reminders like this. Seeing events in our lives in a neural way is one of the secrets to happiness. A great deal of negativity can be eliminated by stopping and asking the simple question: Is it true? In other words, - is my thinking about this situation accurate? As you say, if you can't corroborate it, you might as well drop it.
