What Holly does

I am the owner of Barbo Furniture. That is stated simply. I am also the buyer, sales person, decor consultant, freight manager, book keeper and janitor. I love every minute.

What Holly does best

The store specializes in well made (sustainable), eco friendly furniture and decor items that are healthy for the home. I am very informed on how things are made and should be made as we also make custom wood furniture. The custom furniture ability is from a 74 year heritage of furniture makers. I have produced a DVD and also have 2 YouTubes that inform about sustainable and healthy home furnishings. I also do "decor counseling", working with people to create the home that reflects their personality and lifestyle.

Education

I have a B.A. and M.A. in Speech Pathology from WWU and a double Art minor.

Experience

I am now full time at Barbo Furniture. 1999-2008 I owned and managed Barbo Furniture while working part time in the furniture wood shop. 1989-1999 I worked full time in the family furniture wood shop. 1988-1989 I designed Counted Cross Stitch for Pegasus in S.C. 1975-1982 I worked in the Public Schools as an itinerant Speech pathologist for 7 years.
