One definition of entrepreneurial success is simply: "going from one failure to the next without loosing your enthusiasm". I believe that this is true. Every real success is preceded by multiple attempts. You can call them failures or you can consider them experiments proving what will not work.
It was Albert Einstein that said "The only source of knowledge IS experience." Consequently, I have set out to gain more experience by "Hiring Myself First" and practicing without fear of failure.
I have had a very successful sales career and learned that Einstein was correct because I gained more knowledge than I ever could have imagined. I am now a sales and business veteran having practiced over 4 decades through good times and bad, success and failures, euphoria and heartaches.
I have become convinced that a key element to how much we earn and what degree of success we achieve is in direct proportion to how much knowledge we obtain. We can get that knowledge through experience or we can learn from others.

The core ingredient of all my business start-ups was a technique that evolved over time which I call SenseAble Selling.
To do this you must "Hire Yourself First" and sell a product or service that you can be passionate about. Build it into a business or system over time that will generate profits that can be put into passive investments that will create wealth. I feel this is "the real purpose of owning a personal business".

If I had known then (anytime in the last 40 years) what I know now, I could have saved multi-millions of dollars and avoided many personal business traumas.
