Joe... Thank you for yet another inspiring strategy session. ...Howard
Joe... I have a current new Marketing Challenge that I need your sage advice about. ...Howard
Thanks Carole... Good advice that we can all use.
Now, to add shamelessly the part about increasing sales, add a qwicktip to your diet each day. You can get them shortly if you follow me on twitter.

We are having a larger size group at ThinkSpace in Redmond on Oct 7th, if you are interested.
You should take advantage of this Free workshop.
The next Bellevue Free Shameless Bragging is the middle of October.
There will be an Almost Free Shameless Bragging on Oct 4 in Renton.

How can you beat "almost Free"? And you thought there was no such thing as a Free Lunch. Well, maybe there isn't. But what with a full day of classes and learning and a light lunch for only $18. That's a deal you can hardly pass up.
Hope to see you there. ...Howard
Dan... It's great to have some data to back up the claim that I always make to people whenever I am shamelessly promoting Biznik Events.
Thank you.
Leif... I'm in. Twitter ThatSalesGuy
OK Leif... I'm now on Twitter as ThatSalesGuy
Tweet me gently please ...Howard
Joe... I would love to attend but I'm hosting a Greet Eat and Meet lunch in Bellevue at the same time.
I thought I would let you know that I learned about this event post in the last hour or so from a twitter post you made about 5 hours ago. Otherwise I may never have even seen this posting. ...Howard
Mike... I think your service sounds great and I do want to know more. I encounter a lot of people who need the kind of help you are offering and I would love to shamelessly promote it if you don't mind.
I will look forward to meeting you during and possibly after the event. ...Howard
Joe... I'm interested and I may have both the ability and resources to do it, but I don't know what *it* is so I can't truthfully answer the question you have posed. ...Howard
Mike... I would like to know more about what you do so that I could be a referral partner with you. I have always conducted my own informal market research for my past ventures but now that I spend a lot of time advising other business owners, it would be good for me to understand the value proposition of using a researcher such as yourself.
I've held a few Biznik workshops and would enjoy visiting with you at a future Biznik event sometime about venues, subjects, and my experiences. Hope to see you soon. ...Howard
Suzette... Great topic. I'd like to share my 2cents.
I have been excluded from a couple of biz networking groups and suffered mental scares that probably continue to affect my personality. This is one of the reasons I like Biznik so much.
A condition of all Biznik events is that ALL bizniks are welcome, no exclusions. Consequently, I promote my Shameless Bragging event and my Greet Eat and Meet events outside the Biznik community with the invitation to join connected to registration to attend the event.
You may be aware of the new "Groups" feature for Biznik that is close to being implemented. I have faith in Dan and Laura that it will be in the original spirit of the Biznik manifesto and encourage niche groups that will have "open" appeal to everyone with a similar interest to gather and collaborate and not turn into "exclusive" cliques.
As Biznik community members, I hope we will all influence THIS community to always remain open to EVERYONE.
Now after saying that, I must add that we already exclude MLM's (a feature I have always supported by the way). Where do we "draw the line"?
This could become a real lively topic Suzette. Are you ready for it?
...Howard
Edie... Come to one of my events and I'll give you a some useful tips, free Biznik consult so to speak. Look forward to seeing you soon. ...Howard
BTW... If you want me to come to you instead, find me a great spot in Snohomish where I can hold one of my Greet Eat and Meet Networking Lunches. It needs to be a good restaurant with a room or space that we can Eat and Meet without distraction from the other diners.
Leila... Here's a idea, or maybe the realization of an evolution of experience.
I regularly host Greet Eat and Meet networking luncheons. (BTW... Andrew Delany inspired me to change the name from Just Eat and Meet about a year ago.) The format has evolved to meeting as a group (when larger than 3 or 4) and sharing a "Shameless Brag" (the Greet part), then splitting up into small groups of 3-4 to (Eat and Meet).
I have found this to be very effective for both the Intros and the Extros. If Intros are lurking out there, and following this thread without showing yourself, here's an idea for you.
Drop-in to one of my Greet Eat and Meets, even without RSVPing if you desire, and arrive about a half-hour late so you don't have to do the "Shameless Brag" in front of the group. Just drop me a personal note to let me know you are coming, and I will save a spot for you at one of the 4-top tables. That way, you can feel more comfortable with a small group that is part of a larger group.
Try it... It might surprise you. ...Howard
Debra... If I can, I'm in. Let me know if I can help in any way. ...Howard
Annika... I'm so sorry I must cancel, but a client need has taken a priority. Hope to make your next one. ...Howard
Leif... I see you found my Biznik testimonial. I posted it after looking at the Biznik YouTube Channel thinking it needed some more content.
After uploading it, I could not figure out how to post it on the Biznik Channel. Still learning. ...Howard
Pamela... Thank you for hosting this unique Biznik event. I enjoyed the fact that it gave me an excuse to calendar a moment in time when I could turn-off my phone and focus on a writing task that was urgent for me. It also gave us another connection opportunity. ...Howard
Stephen... You are one of my favorite "wacky people". I enjoyed your video. I wish you the best of experiences on your tour.
If you haven't already met my friend Nancy Juetten, you might want to connect if you are interested in DIY Publicity while on your tour.
Nancy hosts a regular event called Publici-Tea. I recommend it. ...Howard
Elizabeth... Yes I receive unsolicited calls all the time, and I love them. The appropriate ones (people who request first if it is OK to talk? and then actually listen my response!) are good.
The inappropriate ones help me vet who I don't want to do business with. (And, yes I'm not too shy to "hang up" when necessary.) ...Howard
BTW... Can I give you a call to talk about this Zorro fetish?
Thank you Ilise for some new insight into a common fear that most everyone experiences. ...Howard
Wow! ...Thanks Lara. This will be a GREAT enhancement to the Network Feature of Biznik. Thanks for all you do for us.
John... Thank you for inspiring me to go back and read my own article written about 8 months ago. I posted it as a result of a previous thread on this same subject.
Although I still feel the same way, Dan and Lara have now given me a better solution than deleting anyone.
BTW... My real intention of my statement about deleting was meant to imply only those that I had discovered over time were not "worthy" of giving referrals to by their own actions. I would never dis-associate with anyone for any other reason than to protect others of getting a false or misleading recommendation for another. I want my referrals to be sincere and beneficial to those whom I give them to. I like Lara's idea of a "vouched for" or in my view a "referable" classification.
Now, the delete button can be saved for only the most extreme circumstance. ...Howard
