  • Thank you for sharing. Self awareness is the first step of self growth. When we are clear, we can make a working choice.

After I published the article, I realized that Jane Bakken posted an article sharing the 5Cs for Nooyi. Please refer to her profile/Posts Performance with a Purpose

  • I appreciate your passion towards technology. I agree that challenges will move technologies forward in faster speed. I love to see that happen too.

At the same time, energy crisis impacts more things than technology advancement. It's not as simple as suffering for a few years. It's food shortage and social instability. It creates chain reactions.

This morning, GM let thousands workers go because of low sales of truck and SUV. I sure hope that they will survive through years' suffering and go back to make new energy-efficient cars!

  • Brian,

Lara has confirmed the rule. I will honor it.

Event Creation Form will be strengthened to check the rule to avoid people error.

Thanks for bringing the rule to my attention.

  • no worry; no offerse.

I tend to be succinct and direct. I am checking with Lara on the rule you mentioned. I didn't hear about it or see it posted. Will keep you posted.

When I create events, there are a few very specific guidelines posted on the creation page and I honor them all.

  • Brian,

Are you proposing a new guideline for event hosting? I am not the right person to talk to. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

When your definitions of "event" and "private meeting" become "the truth" of biznik, I will be happy to honor.

  • David,

Thank you for posting this. I also posted "What do you cut?" for the purpose of reminding people to take a look of the costs and budget. I like the quote “Bankruptcy happens gradually and then, suddenly.” If we are present to what’s happening in our finance and our environment, we see what’s coming and we can handle it before the sudden impact happens.

  • I think risk is defined by the person and it's a subjective description.

I can take a step to reach my goal and don't consider it as taking a risk. But, it could be seen as a risk by others. They might not do what I do and they might acknowledge me for what I do.

I would get awareness that what I did was considered as taking risk by others and it didn't change the fact that it's not a risk taking for me.

Boy. I feel a mouth full. Hopefully, I communicated my late-night thought. :)

  • Focusing on the revenue is a good idea.

I am also examining my spending when I want to keep up with the gas expense and all of the raising price of goods and services.

Planning my trips wisely or meeting on the phone are good options.

  • Monica,

I feel your passion and happiness. Isn't it great to live a life you love?

    Stephen,

StrengthFinder 2.0 is a book($12) that comes with a code to allow you to do a test on line. It's a revised version of Discover Your Strength. Both of them are strength tests. They provided interesting data to me. I recommend it to my clients who want to discover their strength and weakness for career choices.

  • I don't have cats. I am glad that I don't have to coach them. :)

I wonder if you two (Stephen and Judy) did "Discover Your Strengths" or "StrengthFinder 2.0". I did both and discovered that one of my strenghs was "strategic" - to sort through clutter and find the best route - a gift allows me to see patterns where others simply see complexity.

Another of my strength is Relator. Relationship is a high value of mine.

I think what I love about my work is based on these strengths.

  • Thanks for sharing, Stephen and everyone shared on this topic.

I heard a lot of value honored - compassion, creativity, clarity, empowerment, adventure, passion, generosity, curiosity, discovery. freedom, relationships, learning, community, innovation, wealth, health, contribution, excellence, integrity and accomplishment.

I am honored to be part of the community.

  • What I love about coaching...

I empower people to see how extraordinary they are and to live life fully.

I get to use my creativity and clarity to make a difference.

I experience life through others' eyes. My world is expanding.

My clients have a bigger purpose in life. Their world is expanding.

The next step is to observer what emotions are triggered for you in various situations and how you manage the emotions. Keep a journal on your observation.
