I have a BA in Sociology/Criminology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MC (Masters In Clinical Counseling) from University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Ariaona.

As a folk artist and singer, I have personally experienced the power of healing through art and the creativite process.

I spent 20+ years living in a small town in the NW corner of British Columbia on the Yukon-Alaska borders where I developed the first counseling program and practiced as a frontlines counselor primarily with tribal people.

In my consulting business, I traveled both to urban and extremely remote places to deliver servcies e.g.health and human services program development and related training, project funding and evaluation, mediation, community development, long-term health planning, retreats for workers, and a wide variety of seminars.

These experiences created a strong cross cultural foundation for me and have allowed me the privileges of capability and comfort working with a wide variety of populations.
