I'm a Freelance Copywriter who produces copy/content for Web sites, Direct Mail, Newsletters, Public Relations and other marketing materials. I also help small businesses find the right message to present to their target audience.

Listen to what your client is saying and ask the right questions. This is what I've learned in my professional careers prior to becoming a copywriter. I've worked as a help desk analyst and had to diagnose computer problems from a customer's description alone. I've worked as a journalist and had to make absolutely sure I was presenting the information as accurately as possible. Once I heard their side of the story, I had to ask the right questions to get the best answers (or provide them). And of course write!

Copywriting is an investment that shouldn't be taken lightly. It can make or break your company. In years past copywriting was delegated to the "low man on the totem pole," the newbie just into the company. The Internet has quickly changed this mentality - for most companies anyway. I'm looking to meet clients who have come to realize they don't have the time, manpower or expertise to effectively produce the best material to help promote their companies.
