Moving up to Seattle...

Hi! I'm isaacw, a front-end web designer/developer moving up to the Seattle area very soon. I'm a full time freelancer and have been independent off and on over the last few years. While business is good, I'm learning that my strength is not not in running a business, but in being a designer. Therefore, I'm looking to transition back into full time employment, while continuing part time freelance work on the side.

How's the Seattle area tech community? Are there any local web design groups I ought to look into?
