  • Need some subs for Softball this Saturday

Need a few people on Beacon Hill this Saturday for two games, 3p and 4:30p

We have enough ladies, however if you are one and played in college or a high school MVP we can make an exception...

Need three more guys who are at least somewhat athletic and can definitely swing a bat...

  • Tip for working hard and living stress free

    Everyone is working hard

This world is speeding up, some say technology is doing it, others say it is the Quickening (time literally moving faster). So how do we keep up with this tornado and stay sane?

You can only do what you can do…so don’t stress about it…stay within your means.

While working keep your integrity in line and know you are doing your best…don’t worry about if this is going to please “them”. Please yourself…those that are connected to the Source will transmit what is needed for the world…don’t obligate yourself to the “confused” and “unattached”. If you run your life through the “confused”, one has to constantly guess what they want…this is exhausting!….The universe does not change and remains constant, those connected to the Source appear to be very calm.

So when you need to work fast notice how amped up you get, work fast while remaining calm…you won’t be so burnt out at the end of the day…

Noticing when you’re anxious and being able to switch to a calm state is the beginning of living in Peace.

IF you need help detaching from the obligations of life and from people I am an excellent energetic cord cutter…selling yourself out to others leaves one very tired at the end of the day.

    Any other tips out there?!

  • If you are spending 30+ hours at the computer per week...

This is some advice from your friendly local massage therapist - energy worker.

A very common pain complaint that I get from clients is a tight right shoulder...After some questions we find that this is "Computer Mouse Syndrome" (I made this up but I am sure the medical industry will take it soon).

If you are spending 20-60+ hours at the computer it is very likely that you may have Computer Mouse Syndrome. Symptoms are tightness in the top of the forearm, bicep, and your shrugging shoulder muscle.

Spending 20-60+ hours in one position with added stress is like ingesting cement. Stress acts like a cement and whatever position we are in during that time those muscles will harden.

So exercises for your forearm would be squeezing the top and bottom of your forearm just below your elbow with your other hand, then wave your hand back and forth. This will help stretch the top of your forearm and strengthen the bottom of your forearm.

And of course a nice relaxing massage really helps with "syndromes".

Check your health insurance...chronic pain and injuries usually qualifies for a prescription for massage...

Anyone else have advice for the computer users...?

  • Transformation of Words..."Real Meanings"

    2007 the year of Transformation.

These days I am feeling that the true meaning of words is lost and we just say them without really knowing their orgin.

I feel we need to pay attention with more intention towards what we are saying...

For instance when someone asks, "How are you?", typically some say "Not Bad", Doesn't that mean "Good", why not just say "I'm good", and just skip the negative and become positive...transform your language.

    Other words to look at:

Universe - "You in reverse", "you in verse" Intimacy - "In to me I see" Enjoy - "In joy" (at this moment I am in joy) Disease - "Dis-Ease" (temporarily out of line or ease) ohm - "home" Entrance - "In trance"...ancient templar times..temples were created, the doors were gateways to meditations, a place to come to peace, and evolve your consciousness at the Alter, a place for altering your mind, transformation...

Any one else have any words or phrases for change?

  • Photographers: Need a picture for potential published article

I am submitting my latest article "Four Steps to Walking Consciously". Some magazines are asking if they want to attatch a picture. So I am asking the Biznik community if there are any photos out there that compliment my article.

Anything with people walking, or feet, all in an artful way.

To see the unpublished rough draft...

  • Poll: Subconscious thoughts make our posture...

This is from an article I am developing about how our subconscious thoughts make our posture. I am polling everyone to see if my theory is true about the way we walk.

"In my research I have noticed that there are two common categories that people fall into when they walk; walking with toes pointing out and toes pointing in. People who walk with their toes pointed out are “wanting to slow themselves down and not really want to get to there goal or destination”. People who walk with their toes pointed in are “in a rush”."

Any relate or berate this idea?

    thanks...Jacob

  • Customized Biznik Brochures...A cut and paste method

In my massage business I give a brochure about what I do to my clients or potential clients. I would like have an insert of Biznik members and their services.

This keeps from keeping track of 130 business cards.

I was thinking of a cut and paste method where you could take and customize your favorite members and hand them out to your clients. Then be able to print out a few of the desired inserts.

    Perhaps there could be the...

"Medical Practitioner insert" Therapeutic Practitioners and Doctors.

"About to buy a house insert" Bankers, Real Estate , And Financial Advisers.

"Computers" Fixing, Internet, Blogging, Web Designing.

    "Artists" Graphic Design, Photography, Drawing.

How this is done I do not know...I just come up with the ideas...If this sounds like a good idea I am sure someone in the graphic design or web designer field will take this on...
