Would folks like a talk on How to Sell like a Human Being?

Let me ask:

Are you doing everything you can to "build it and (hope) they will come", but they're not coming fast enough?

Are you avoiding sales, because you hate sales, salespersons, and you NEVER want to be one, BUT you NEED to be one?

(okay, enough leading questions) The good news is, you can learn to sell like a human, from your heart, and be a problem solver, and make more money, and provide your wonderful solution to more people!

If I can get some responses here, I'll give the talk I gave in the Fall that people liked, "Damn it Jim, I'm a _______, not a Salesperson. (props to Bridget St John for the name)

Is there ANY accountability for claims made here?

Dear Community,

It has come to my attention that there are people making claims for results in biznik that would be pretty far outside the norm.

I'm all for breakthroughs and innovation, but in the event people are making claims that can't be substantiated, or are just plain defrauding people, what is the mechanism here on biznik deal with these people?

What a great group!

REEEAlly mean that. My first event was the one at Poco. It was such a pleasure to be in a group of people who did what they loved, and loved what they did.

It really made finding out what people did a pleasure and very relaxed.

Me? Hey, just a guy who appreciates life, has vowed to find another great item to sell (yours?) and NEVER return to Cubicleland! Give me a phone, a fax, and the interweb, and I shall find the peeps who need your stuff!

Would a Presentation on Selling Like a Real Human be Helpful?

A couple of you expressed an interest in learning to sell better, and Dan said he thought it'd be a hot topic.........

I'm a bit of a sales geek, see it as an art, the art of uncovering/discovering needs/opportunities. (basic philosophy in my description) It can be a very helpful and enjoyable encounter.....(yep, you can learn to enjoy selling!)

What would be helpful to you in terms of sales? How to prospect? How to sell in front of groups? How to set appointments and sell one-on-one? How's your "elevator pitch"?
