I am currently the New Media Manager at Parnassus Group, the company responsible for the incredibly cool Blog Business Summit and Web Community Forum events. As with most work in the "web 2.0″ world, exactly what I do is a little hard to define, but it involves a lot of fun things with a lot of cool people.

I often call myself a "Social Media Strategist" because my expertise is in figuring out which social media toolset needs to be employed for any given campgain. Who are your customers? What are your objectives? Should you use blogs, wikis, or social networks? All three? How can we measure ROI?

I call this "strategy" level work, and it's what I'm best at.

I have an AB from Occidental College in Los Angeles.

Oxy actually gives out an "AB" instead of a "BA," which is technically "better," except that everyone just thinks you have a typo on your resumé.

I have been blogging in some form or another since 2001, and I have been working with the Parnassus Group (in some form or another) since 2005.
