Custom Suits

Posted Dec 29, 2007.

Quite a few people have been asking me lately about my pricing for custom made suits. Custom made suits are normally $895 and up. I have three different levels of manufacturing available to me at different price points (fused coats, partial fused/basted coats & fully basted coats). I am a believer in high quality construction so I don't pass those costs onto clients when I upgrade them to the more expensive level of manufacturing, the fully basted without fusing.

Here's how I have some of my custom suits listed: $895 Super 90's $1095 Super 110's $1395 Super 120's $1595 Super 130's & 135's $1995 Super 150's & 150's blended with cashmere $2495 Ermenegildo Zegna Fabrics

As I mentioned before, they are not differentiated by price of construction but rather the fabric cost and quality of material. As you can see, the higher the range the bigger the discount.

Also, I have fabrics more expensive than these from a few of my Italian, French, English, etc. mills which are more expensive ($2500-$10,000).

Most of my clients spend one to two thousand on their suits. Please ask me about discounts you receive for being a Biznik member.

Also, I carry three lines of off the rack suits which are $695 to $795. I usually give my Biznik contacts a $100 off those suits.

Please let me know if you would like to take a look at anything or have any questions. I don't charge for my time.

My Best,

Jeff Collins

The Suit Is Back... And This Time It's On Sale!!! Due to a downturn in the economy suit sales are starting to take off. That's right when times are tight you have to look your best to get the job or persuade the client to work with you. Wearing your lawn cutting clothes to work aren't going to cut it in a competitive work climate.

Your personal image opens or closes many doors. Present yourself professionally and you'll find those doors wide open. You must look successful to be seen that way. In realizing this, my suit factory has made dressing well even more affordable.
