I work with people to achieve radical healing. Folks who work with me make changes and enjoy life more.

My style is a directive, creative, collaborative and humorous. I also incorporate the body and intuition, creativity and play. We may use props, art making or other materials to find the nugget that will be most helpful. I also use EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, to facilitate healing and change and break through places where you are stuck while releasing trauma. Clients often find my bold, direct and humorous style refreshing and trustworthy. It's therapy that works!

  I’ve known Jenna for over 6 years and I respect her tremendously. She is undoubtedly someone who has done her own work. You can count on Jenna to tell you the truth and to bring insights and openings to your life that you may not have thought possible. Her methods are highly creative and even if you are dealing with heavy issues, there will most likely be laughter along the way.

  If you’ve never tried therapy, you are in luck because Jenna is the cream of the crop. Many people search for a good therapist for years and here, right at your fingertips, is not only a good, but top notch therapist.   Choosing a therapist is arguably the most personal decision you can make outside of choosing a spouse. For most people, their relationship with their therapist is the most intimate relationship in their lives - more intimate than the relationship with their spouse or parents. I haven't worked with Jenna myself, but I've tried psychotherapy and have met a lot of licensed therapists and counselors. From some, I've gotten the feeling that the reason they chose to study and practice therapy had less to do with their talent as an objective listener and intuitive counselor, and more to do as a result of their own experience working with a therapist. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing (and my opinions are purely subjective) but it's left me wondering just how "broken" they were, if they were "fixed" yet, and how much of their own work they were still doing through their clients.

  But when I met Jenna, I did not get this feeling. She's smart, savvy, sassy, and has a quick wit. We talked about her philosophy and it resonated with me. I got the sense that she's done her work, and that the reason she's chosen to practice therapy is because she's good at it. I liked her approach on couples' counseling, and her perspective on doctor-patient boundaries; and I've recommended her to a number of people who've asked. She's worth meeting and seeing if she resonates with you.   [less]
