Hi, my name is Jennifer Manlowe and I am the founder of Life Design Unlimited and am an "outside the job box" Creative Career Counselor. I am also an author, educator, and Book Coach with over 20 years of experience helping people authorize their life and/or their first book. My joy is helping you find yours!

When I say I'm an alternative creative career consultant I mean that I don't offer typical skills inventories or traditional career assessments. Rather, I'm very intuitive, imaginative and superbly generative in giving you advice to turn your favorite activities into sites for income. I'm the "eyes and ears" for people who are having a difficult time hearing and seeing who they are and who they can be in their second stage of life. I believe we don't find "just right" jobs out there, we create right work by being true to ourselves and honest with what we offer others. Some say, "Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow" I add a few things: "Share What You Love to Do for Others and the Money Will Follow!"

I offer a content specific eight-week program, designed to help you find purpose, clarify or create new dreams, overcome fears and doubts and learn shortcut techniques for achieving dreams. Whether you want to be healthier, make a career change or more money, or write (and publish!) -- I coach you to make the necessary shifts to achieve what ever you'd love to do! As Steve Jobs said in his famous commencement address at Stanford, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know it when you find it. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."

My authentic calling is to help you find yours.

How do I do this?:

I offer you unique ways to discover what kind of work enlivens you... I teach you intuitive-listening practices that help you awaken to your style in relating to work, yourself, and supportive others. As an educator, I offer soul-coaxing "homework" each week that fosters your own sense of right-livelihood. I've seen clients follow the golden thread of their authentic imagination to build a lifetime/lifeline of rewarding, creative expression that pays!

Though I've earned advanced degrees in Philosophy, Psychology and Religion from Princeton and Drew University, but I find that most of my learning comes from working with others.

I am a licensed, certified creative career counselor in the state of Washington and am the founder of Life Design Unlimited.
Following the sudden death of my father in 2006, I left my academic job as a professor in philosophy, psychology & religion, and my 140-mile-a-day commute, to pursue my dream of launching my creative consulting career. As a student, professor and counselor for over 20 years, I've always enjoyed most LAUNCHING others toward their heart's desires. My deepest sense of joy is helping others find theirs.
