What Jessica does

I wear many hats right now. I am the Executive Director of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, manage two farmers markets - Wallingford and Madrona and have my own business doing FileMaker database design for small business, graphic design and small business marketing consulting.

What Jessica does best

I thrive at making connections and connecting people. In both the business and residential communities that I live I get involved and work to help people and businesses accomplish their goals.

What does Jessica need?

Time, I have a lot on my plate. Since I get involved with so many groups and love to get my hands into different events as well as try to keep a social life, I often find myself double or triple booked on any given evening.

Education

My undergraduate background is in graphic design and photography. After getting my BS from Drexel University, I worked in various graphic design postions, including as a freelancer. Then after 10 years in graphics I decided to go back for my MBA, going at night to Seattle University and getting my Master Degree in 2005.

Experience

I have taken a number of different postions. While working as a graphic designer: - Designed yellow page ads for Qwest - Helped set up a Sir Speedy Print shop graphics department - Took charge of the Magnolia Audio Video Signage department

Then shifting to more business oriented postions: - Executive Director of the Interbay Neighborhood Association - Executive Director of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce - On Site Market Manager for Seattle Farmers Market Association
