The event WAS wonderful, and it was wonderful because all of you helped make it so!

@Daniel, no worries! We're just going to hang out and have a good time. Caroline and I are coming up with an ice breaker--a way for people to comfortably approach each other without having to jump into their elevator speeches--and there may be time for introductions to the whole group. But whatever format we settle on, the point is to have fun!

There's a Myers-Briggs (Jungian) explanation for why some people find the uncertainties of marketing "fun" and others experience the whole process as (in Peter Levinson's famous phrase) a "Darwinian mosh pit."
But Hsuan-Hua and Ilise, you've nailed it: cumulative... unknowable... mysterious... and hopefully, big existential fun. :-)
LOL. Brent, I wouldn't go quite that far, but thanks for the image. Milo O. Franks (who wrote the gem book "How to Get Your Point Across in 30 Seconds or Less") was a big believer in only holding biz meeting in which everyone stands throughout. I've never had the nerve to do it, but it would probably help people edit their comments!
