I am a family Lifestyles Photographer. I listen to your wants and needs and create a portrait unique to you and your family.

Capture spontaneous moments in time that capture you and your family in a memory.

~Families with children about to go off to college...Senior portraits are fine, but what I really want to create are the final family portraits before the relationships change beyond the original family unit.

~Parents with brand new babies.

~A pregnant woman, wanting to document her pregnancy in a beautiful and artistic way.

I attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, as well as working for Walt Disney for one year.

In general, my education is ongoing with my attending a constant stream of seminars and education to keep me at the cutting edge of my field.

I began my business in 1992 when I moved up to the Puget Sound area from Los Angeles.

Most of my early career consisted of weddings, and a few family portraits...From 1992 through 2000, I photographed about 300 weddings. This gave me a wonderful sense of 'capturing the decisive moment' as well as how to be calm during a crisis.

In late 2000, I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic...I was able to be on sabbatical that year, as my husband at the tme was working and I regrouped and acessed what had and hadn't worked in my business before. I returned to the Seattle area one year later, ready to go to work.

Knowing I was no longer interested in photographing weddings, I put all of my focus on children and family portraits.

We implemented a great Baby's first Year program that remains a strong part of the business today. (More changes occur during this first year than at any other time in a child's life)

The next key stage to have your child photographed is around 3-4 years and in general, every couple of years creating a wonderful family portrait that will encapsulate where your family is at that particular moment in time, is really key in creating your family portrait history. Let's create a memory for your family together!
