Great article Beth! Happy to see so much attention and input on it, too! I love the "bottom line" and "questions to ask" elements - good work, and hope you are very well!

I probably couldn't make a wednesday, mondays and thursdays would be better for me - the 28th or 5th for a monday or the 1st for a thursday. If wednesday is better for other folks, that's fine - I can join you at a later meeting.

Puget Sound Coaches Association is the local chapter of the International Coach Federation. I used to be on the board. In my experience, PSCA is attended largely by less experienced coaches, with a few more seasoned coaches attending irregularly. Maybe this has changed in the past year. I'm especially interested in connecting with coaches who earn their living at least in part from coaching.

I'd be interested too - thanks for starting the conversation! I'd prefer the west side of the Lake, and am less likely to come to something on the weekend.

Posted Apr 01, 2008 What are you willing to give up in order to build your business? a conversation started by Hsuan-Hua Chang, PCC, MS
I agree completely Molly - my idea of "who I am" and "what I offer" has changed so many times now I just think of it as a river, and nothing I can control. What a relief.
Along similar lines, something I've had to be willing to give up over and over again is the option of hiding. Since my business is really "me," when I'm marketing, blogging or doing my work I'm totally out there - "balls out" as some of my more crass friends (and apparently me) might say.
Most of the time I'm very grateful for the opportunity to give up this particular option, but it does feel difficult on some days when I'd rather hide.

I'd come! I've had that book on my bedside table for weeks - thanks to you Debbie - and would love to read and discuss it with you and other like minds. Thanks for the great idea and I look forward to the full announcement!
