What Jim does

I create art, and I teach English.

Large sculptures have been a long-term mainstay of my last decade.

In the last two years, I have enjoyed being a teacher of my native language in Korea, where I have become a student of Hangul, and an appreciator of the people and history, and foods, and culture of the Korean peninsula.

I have found that there are some tremendous possibilities for bridging the great divide of geography in arts, through well-laid plans.

We will see...

What does Jim need?

To hear from people who are into promotions about 'what it is' to get on a book tour.

  • oh, and I was a performance poet between 1993 until Halloween 1998 when an accident ended that career. Previous to that, I was on stage with some fabulous kids. I still love a good show... hence the large art.
