For the last twenty years, I've actively investigated the small segment of people in crisis traversing the depths of crisis who emerged stronger and more engaged in life.

The journey from crisis to creation can be clearly seen in the patterns of people confronting, and transforming the quality of their life in the wake of terminal illnesses or catastrophic injury. Their journeys illuminate the possibility, and a compelling process, we all can utilize to attain higher expressions in our own life, regardless of circumstance. The patterns parallel new directions followed by ability-centered psychologies and the growing research on Post Traumatic Growth (PTG). My work centers around assisting people to grow--transform their lives-- through crisis, involving writing, treaching and consulting. [less]
