What Jim does

I work with managers to create a job benchmark (what does the job need). Potential employees respond to onnline assements. The results of their assessments are compard to the benchmark. This provides a way to compare an empoloyees, behaviors, attitudes and attributes to the benchmark. This objective information along with traditional subjective information (resumes, interviews, writing, refernce checks and background checks) fits the best applicants to the job. Get the right employee the first time.

What Jim does best

My clients tell me that I am good at integrating new hires into the job so they will be effective. That includes validation of the new employee, getting them socially connected, determining their envirnomental and tools needs, and setting their expectation bar for success high.

What does Jim need?

I have had success in working in the municiapl market in employee selection and soft skills training. I am developing a niche presence and would be interested in interviewing city managers to discover their needs, wants and desires.

I have been working as a business development consultant, trainer employee selection specialist since 1985. Most of my clients are businss to business. In the last four years I have been develping a niche in Municipalities.
