    Dr. Brenda,

You must have spent a lot of time on the article as it is so rich in content. I like the contrast between praise and encouragment. I have always known that encouragment is better but now I know why and will be able to encourage more and praise less. My effectiveness will be improved since you shared your knowledge with me. Thank you!

    Brandi,

It is refreshing to see ideas on how to be better at work. I tried saying OMMM like you suggested, it works! Releasing stress and enjoying the day makes for a greater sense of fulfillment. Hope you will add another similar article in the future.

    John,

I like your idea of rotating mentors. I am always open to finding people that can show me a different way of looking at and responding to an opportunity or challange. I look forward to learning something new.

John, your time spent in responding is truly appreciated.

    John,

Very well said. When a person is doing what is natural and in alignment with thier dominant values they tend to be motivated. Educational exercises that help them understand thier peers temperament and values is valuable in creating a high performance work team.

Hiring the right person (one that loves their job) involves understanding the needs of the job (job benchmark) and finding a person that matches those needs by using objective and subjective means.

Every business owner should read and understand this artilce.

    Thanks for sharing John.

    Corey,

Thanks for the good marketing ideas. Please answer these questions.

    1. Do you hire a professional vidoegrpaher to shoot the interview. How long is the video testimonial.

    2. Does it take several reshoots to get it just right?

    3. Does the client use a script or is his/her comments all extemperaneous.

    4. How much time does it take once you are on location.

    5. Where do you post the video and why? Describe ways your clients have used testimonial videos.

    Melannie,

I am always working on being in the now. Your article was a good reminder. What triggers do you use to slow down an "be"?

May your stillnes and solitude bless your coming and going. Thanks for sharing.

    John,

We can serach for anwers for marketing, buisness development and delivery of product or service. Those answers/solutions are turbo charged with enthusiasm. The red dot on the watch to remind me to be enthusiastic is a real keeper. We need triggers to remind us that we can be enthusiastic by choice.

Thanks for sharing John. Carpe diem!

Dissing the golden rule will aleinate those that hold it dear. The golden rule is values based (world view) statement not a behavior based (temperament) statement.

    Grant,

I use benchmarking (prbobaly the same company as you use) as part of the process for selecting great employees. Comparaing thier natural talents to the benchmark is revealing. I contact their references for referrals and get much better view of the candidate. Selecting or rejecting an employee is good for the company and in the long run thw employee.

    Howard,

Very inspiring. Why is it, that difficult times bring the best out in us? You were always able to do what you needed to do to get the job all thosse years ago. Your story was encouraging. Jim
