Last year, I co-founded a new venture, Storybooks for Healing, for sharing some of the most important stories in our lives: those for whom we grieve . This focused writing program is for the bereavement industy specifically. The specially designed workbook for participants and guide for faciltators have already proven to have a profound effect for overcoming grief and loss. Since our intial pilot last summer we are now in the pre-launch stage for presenting the program throughout the nation.

Lately I've been assisting people through their grief and loss with a new focused writing program. This bereavement program helps participants seek out purpose and meaning to their loss, as well as share their journey with others. Through sharing of their story of loss and lessons learned, and in specific writing exercises celebrating the life of the one they love and miss, participants gain insight and validation through their work. In the end, the writer publishes a Storybook for Healing so that the important values and personality of their loved one lives on. The results are impressive, the stories priceless, and the work is very meaningful and fulfilling for me as well as the participants. I'm looking for folks who want to share business tales... I've started a Biznik group: Read 'em and Meet South Sound. This is a monthly book club featuring a reading selection to help improve life as an entrepreneur.

Varied... Lots of graphic and communications work in the past 15 years. Started Mosiac Tributes in 2004; added Mosaic Storybooks in 2007. Co-founded Storybooks for Healing in 2008 utilizing my background in psychology, child development, and life experiences!
