I am the Co-Owner of an upscale, family-owned hair salon about 20 miles north of Seattle called Elle Marie Hair Studio. You will not find me behind the chair however as I am not a cosmetologist, but rather the Marketing Manager for the salon. Based on best-practices I have learned while marketing the salon, I have spun off a marketing division under the Elle Marie umbrella which caters not only to health and beauty companies, but small business in other industries as well.

I am also the Vice President of the Mill Creek Business Association, as well as a member of the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce and the Snohomish County Young Professionals Network.

One could say that I'm a Jack-of-all-trades, though admittedly I'm pretty much a master of none. As a marketer I have been successful in personally executing on the full gamut of marketing strategies, ranging from promotion planning and event management to graphic design and web development. Where expert-level knowledge is required however, my diverse background allows me to seek out senior-level professionals, discuss the requirements, and manage the execution of the deliverables. Though I am typically able to come through on most deliverables myself, my greatest strength is my ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with clients and business associates - people I know I can rely on and people who know they can lean on me when necessary as well. I get my energy from those around me and love working with others to find win-win opportunities.

I am in search of small business owners who would like to hire me as their personal marketing department to provide them with public relations services, an online presence, professionally-designed print collateral, an introduction to social networking strategies, and more!
