Hourly-rate financial planner?
Like a lot of people in this market, I'm ready to ditch my financial planner for a fresh perspective (it didn't help that the last concrete recommendation he made 10 months ago was to buy WAMU, thankfully I ignored him).
I'm sick of paying a bunch of annual fees to my financial person and to my mutual fund companies. I really want to find someone who I can pay on an hourly basis and who will help me (and my family) address our current allocation, invest primarily in low-cost index funds, spiders, or stable ETFs, and with whom I can periodically meet (again, on an hourly, not percentage, basis) to check up on things.
I'm hopeful that there is a Bizniker out there who meets this description, preferably in the Seattle / Puget Sound area, but if not, does anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks in advance. --John
