John J. Petroci received his education from LaRoche College in Pittsburgh, PA and from the Community College of The Air Force in Frankfurt, Germany. A veteran of Operation Desert Storm, John J. Petroci served in the United States Air Force for four years, before receiving an honorable discharge in 1991. John J. Petroci has made a name for himself in the paint and coatings industry since 1983, when he first accepted a position with the Sherwin Williams Company. At Sherwin Williams, Mr. Petroci held several titles and managed several different locations over the eleven years he worked for the company, but despite the diversity of locations and level of titles he held, he consistently raised revenue and increased sales at each location. In fact, Mr. Petroci was able to turn around a five-year slump that four of his predecessors had been unable to reverse. After a four year absence to serve his country, John J. Petroci returned to Sherwin Williams for several more years before accepting a better position at Benjamin Moore & Company in Montvale, NJ. At Benjamin Moore, John Petroci served as the company's district sales manager, Mr. Petroci managed a staff of 13 and functioned as a liaison between R&D personnel and sales and marketing personnel. Over the five years that John Petroci's was employed by Benjamin Moore & Company, his territory saw a 14.8% cumulative average growth. After leaving Benjamin Moore & Company in 2002, John J. Petroci accepted a position with Atlantic Envelope Company of Philadelphia, where he worked as a regional sales manager. In addition to increasing sales at Atlantic Envelope, John Petroci was also responsible for creating a training program which was eventually adopted at the company's plants nationwide. As a result, sales improved, and Atlantic Envelope secured 18 new accounts that generated over $10 million dollars in sales. In 2005, John Petroci left Atlantic Envelope to return to the paint and coatings industry, accepting a position as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dumond Chemicals, Inc. Since accepting this position three years ago, Mr. Petroci has already increased sales meteorically, and is well on his way to doing so again in fiscal 2008. [less]
