As a Vibrational Medicine practitioner I see the energetic affects of "holding on" and the formation of unhealthy emotional patterns hampering the health and well being of some clients.
Superficially, for this presenting complaint I would probably expect to do some cleansing and possibly reconstruction in the 3rd ventral chakra.
Next I would check it's corresponding chakra, 6th, and balance the two. It would be interesting to note which of the two was excessive and which was deficient.
Is this a mental issue causing the weight or is it a will power issue causing the weight.
There will be another chakra that corresponds to the issue but knowing the route 3rd or 6th would be helpful. Homework could be offered to support the client between sessions.
I would "check-in" with the pancreas, gall bladder, stomach, intestines, and liver organs for sure. What type of processing is going on?
I'm sure thier would be some answers in the intake but this is clearly on the surface for the complaint.
Next some cleansing and clearing in the emotional field or level of the body. Working in this level the emotion and or issue may present itself to me or the client; Subtle information.
At this point a pair of Ohm tuning forks work nicely in this level of work, an essential oil, a singing bowl, toning, and breathwork are all perfect tools for this type of work.
Definitely the breathwork with the client to release emotion/energy that has been "holding on". Depending on how old this emotion is, how grounded it is in this clients "makeup" we may have to approach the emotional pattern a few times through homework and session work until the client is ready to process this information.
I'd definitely referr a great psychotherapist I know to assist the client throught he process as well.
There would be an option for Chord work in the next session; Releasing emotional chords to archetypes, relationships, and/or belief systems.
Homework would consist of an essential oil like Valor; Inhaled occasionally and placed on the heart source point for support. Journaling any processing over the next 72 hours and through to the next session. Usually one piece of homework is something that came from the information that is processed after the session. Something the client maybe familiar with.
Well Jacob, either I was drawing from a previous client or we had the same one in mind (lol). Either way thank you for the question I really enjoyed expressing a pretty common presenting complaint that usually is attached to an uncommon path.
