Authentic Systems is a cutting edge technique. I need truly "open-minded" people who are willing to explore the very bold claims we offer and realize their full potential. My goal is for people to find Authentic happiness in life, business and most importantly relationships.
Education
BA in Philosophy with emphasis on linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Experience
After 7 attempts at cold-call sales, I finally gave up and bought a delicatessen. When I placed it on the market 5 years later, I was offered a sales position by one of my venders. I would be calling on markets, delicatessens, sandwich and butcher shops where the need is a given and they have the money to buy. However, before I could begin, he filed bankruptcy and could not wholesale any longer. He still offered me a sales position as a cold-call retail representative. I was terrified because my wife did not work and I had one child to also support.
With all of my past failing expereince I felt doomed. Yet, I noticed that all of the sales seminars, workshops, CD's and books on sales never discussed how language really worked. That is, no academically recognized method.
It occured to me that maybe the reason why so many new trainees fail is for that very reason--the major tool a sales representative uses is never adequatly taught.
I decided to try this theory in the real world. I began applying theories of language and communication with my prospects. Within 3 months I had a pattern and 5 months later I had a working model that lasted the next 30 years.
The discovery of Authentic Systems enables me to isolate the Primary Motivator of each prospect. Through "reading" symbols around my prospect, I was able to grasp what "things" matched or conformed to thier Primary Motivator. This made selling much easier.
Out of 20 cold-calls, I sold 14. This avereage maintained throughout my career. If it were not for this discovery, I would not have been able to survive in sales.
