Values-based leadership is important because in any business -- large or small, public or private -- values drive the way in which work gets done and how results are achieved.
Values should be the basis for the culture that you'd like to create for yourself, your employees, and your customers. In other words, values are foundational to the way that any business operates.

- Values inform your team's decisions as to what to do and what not to do -- especially when you are not around
