  • Start Fast, Finish Strong - the 100 Day Challenge

Gary Ryan Blair invites us to not just set a goal, but to set a "big, bold, ambitious, noble" goal (BANG) and to go for it from September 23rd to December 31, 2009 to create a "Big BANG". (see his website: www.StartFastFinishStrong.com if you are interested)

If you were to set and commit to achieving a big, bold, ambitious, noble goal that pushes the envelope way beyond its means, what would it be? What will having achieved it do for you? What resources will you need in order to achieve it? What will you do to achieve it?

Driving home after an event last night, I decided I was going to finish the year having replaced my cheater habit of hope with the committed habit of intention. (I know I get great results when I set intentions, but sometimes I set hopes instead, with less consistent results, possibly because I end up imitating a squirrel in the middle of the road.) Imagine my surprise (and fear and excitement) when I got home and found out about this program! (Gotta love synchronicity!) While I finish debating about what my outcome is going to be, it seems only fair to share the wealth with all of you! What's your Big BANG?

  • Leveraging Your Resources - is it worth it?

As a first-time business owner, it is easy to get caught up in the idea that we have to do everything - the cleaning, the books, the marketing, the fulfillment, etc. But is that really true? Some people say it is worth it to pay someone else to do the things they don't excel at, enjoy, or do efficiently. Others either don't want to cut into their profits by hiring someone else to do what they can do for themselves, or they believe they can't afford to hire someone.

What do you think? Is it worth it to hire someone else to do the things you don't enjoy, excel at, or do efficiently?
