Dr. Juan Bravo is the founder and manager of his own wound care and hyperbaric medical practice in central Florida. Dr. Bravo is widely respected in the medical community as an expert in not one but two specialties, and patients seek out his expertise from across the state of Florida. Dr. Bravo is one of only 24 board-certified specialists in hyperbaric medicine in the state of Florida, and his services are crucial to the successful treatment of patients with life threatening conditions that require hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Dr. Juan Bravo is an active member in several organizations for medical professionals in his field, including the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and the American Academy of Wound Management. Dr. Bravo is also an in-demand expert speaker at medical conferences for both wound care management and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Juan Bravo regularly allows medical students to shadow him during his daily work at his medical practice to increase their knowledge of wound care and hyperbaric medical practices. Dr. Bravo is the fourth generation of medical professionals within his family and comes from a strong tradition of helping his community through his medical knowledge.

Dr. Bravo completed his medical residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, earning the Charles Ackerman Award for practicing medicine as an art. Dr. Juan Bravo earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in his native Puerto Rico and graduated in the top 10% of his class. For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Juan Bravo studied at the University of Puerto Rico and majored in Industrial Microbiology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree.

A fitness enthusiast, Dr. Juan Bravo enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and exercising with his children. He also enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling in his spare time. Dr. Bravo is a generous donor to several major health-related charities, including the American Red Cross and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Dr. Juan Bravo lives in and practices medicine in southern Florida.

I am a physician my specialty is Wound Care and hyperbaric medicine. I work in a wound center and I see patients for such there. I also give conferences on Wound Care and HBO nationally. I am a speaker for Organogenesis and Pfizer. I also teach to local nurses, doctors, Medical Students and College students. the idea with the college students is to interest them in medicine. I do this with friends or sons or daughters of patients or hospital employees that are interested.

I am one of 24 physicians in Florida that are board certified in Hyperbaric Medicine. I am very well respected by my peers and neighbors. Every emergency or not so emergency stops in my house first. I even stuck myself in the thumb with epinephrine while trying to help a neighbor. (almost loss my finger)
