I love being the voice that sings the in's and out's of the beauty profession and how to revolutionize consumerism driven by consciousness. I am committed to empowering a substantial shift in how consumers use their dollars to make a conscientious and green change in how America does business. I was nurtured and inspired in the arts of health and beauty by my father, a cutting-edge, out of the box organic health practitioner. I have owned businesses with my husband since 1988. My platform of expertise is from over 25 years in the beauty profession as a leading educator on sustainable and organic products as well as a successful hairdresser and public speaker.

At 21, I was launched from an apprenticeship with the legendary Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. I was a personal friend of the late Paul Mitchell and helped him launch his "Paul Mitchell" products in Hawaii and was the distributor and educator of Washington state for Toni & Guy of London.

I am a quarterly guest speaker for the senior class at the University of Washington for the Foster School of Business for Dr. Jessica Stone, Ph.D..

I am passionate about informing you on the European Union ban of more than 1,100 ingredients from their populations consumption. The United States has effectively banned 10. I am challenging you to be effective for change. An immediate and substantial shift of both personal and environmental pollution could be accomplished just by changing what you use for shampoo, laundry and dish detergent. 95% of what we use for soap suds are not Earth friendly. That means that 95% of what you are using for shampoo is accomplishing the same effect as your non biodegradable dish soap.
