  • Hello Everyone! I own a Health and Wellness store for the feet! We carry womens' and mens' casual, dress, athletic and revolutionary shoes (those shoes that work you harder!). We also make custom orthotics and sell over-the-counter orthotics which I can modify based on the needs of the person.

I am a Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped) which means I have passed a board Certified exam on pathologies, biomechanics, and how to help with the gait and with the feet!

We also handle Medicare for Diabetics if they are covered under Plan B. This means that if the qualify they can get 1 pair of extra depth shoes, and 3 pairs of diabetic inserts covered at 80% often every year.

I also teach Balance Walking if anyone is interested. This is walking with poles that helps you get that upper body workout along with the lower body workout. Great fun! I look forward to learning more about each of you!

  • April, I love your points about the benefits of charity auctions versus traditional marketing. I think often times business don't include the charity events in their advertising budget, but as a possible add-on later. I like your point on the type of customer you bring in at these events.

I have seen you in action April and I am always amazed of your talents and the ease to which you make the auctioning happen -- and with fun! Always a pleasure.

  • Zita, Something so simple, but yet so powerful. The idea of taking inventory of your most powerful contacts along with inventory of your most important assets makes so much sense. A great plan for the New Year.

You always give me new ways to approach and think about things. Thank you for your incredible insight!

  • Thanks for writing this article. I quickly learned I have as much to learn from others as they do from me. And, the more I learn from them the better we get to know each other. The more we know the more we send others their way. Like you said, it isn't about selling, but rather about learning.
