  • Heather and I just had a great consult with Brent Laws on how we can make BiZi Bee greener. Also, Amy Woidtke is a bubbling, wealth of knowledge on the subject of sustainable design.

As many green initiatives as we are already undertaking, i was surprised at how many more ways we improve here at BiZi Bee Floral. Hats off to Biznik for giving us a place to find these incredibly progressive peeps.

  • i thinking your Meeting Madness name needs tweaking. how bout something more along the lines of Make Your Meetings Run Like Bullet Trains..."get more done faster without flying off track!" or something like that..

and for your project management one..how bout "Discover the Can Do Canoe!" Shave months off of projects while staying on time and under budget!

    just a few suggestions..

BiZi Bee has lots of happy clients. i am going to have to send an email asking for their help.

For anyone thinking of using blogging to power up your search engine rankings, i highly recommend a Wordpress powered web site

that's what we use at bizibeefloral.com and it is super exciting to see the results it's getting us.

  • For those of you who have not met John, he rocks! He isn't some just another yahoo with a wide format digital printer.. John has been in the sign biz for over 30 years. He can actually hand paint signs if needed!

In addition to this, he does have an eye for using his design software. While editing your signs in his software, he draws on that vast pool of experience to create sign layouts with Maximum Pow! Alot of folks think that signs are no brainer items that can be mass printed at Costco or your local printer, but in cutting a little cost that way you may be dumping hundred dollar bills down the gutter.

Cash generating design coupled with attention to detail in the installation process are hallmarks of John's work.

How do i know? I have worked closely with him in creating all the new signage for our store since the beginning of the year. Let me tell ya', i am glad i met this guy. John, you rock! Definitely coming to see you for my vehicle wrap soon.

  • nadja,

i'll call you tomorrow. i have really learned alot since switching over to WP myself.

You could us OScommerce or more well known for integrating with WP is Zencart..

but i recommend not rushing this decision. one reason is that Wordpress now has two "native" shopping cart solutions available currently. they are still a bit on the young side, but work is progressing rapidly. i know a developer who is doing a thorough beta on them right now.

alternately, i know of a developer who built a kick ass cart from scratch custom designed for the fashion and apparel industry..the thing even tracks inventory. i'll check and see if he would be willing to cut you a deal on the code..

talk to you soon doll. have a great night! just

  • Now it's my turn! I am getting picked up by the Sheriff on 4/17/08.

I need to raise $1600 by then. Please keep me from rotting away behind bars please go and donate! hahah!

On a more serious note, thanks in advance for your help, and remember everything helps(even todays latte money!). I worked for a kid with this condition while in the Nursing field. People with this disorder suffer in ways you can only imagine.

The day that kids like this can go on a date, or do things you and i take for granted will be a good day.

Now, imagine that you wake up one morning and hear they have finally found a cure. Every dollar you gets a little closer to just that. Imagine how you'll feel when that day comes and you can look back and know that you are part of making that day happen! Help find a cure Today!

  • i am still evaluating their service myself. i can say that their tech support really does need some work.

it does seem to bring about 2-3 leads to my website a day. not sure about actual orders though.

what i am having the most luck with right now is blogging on my wordpress site. for the money, this is the best solution.

if there's anyone out there who would like to get a wordpress site up, love to share what i know.

annie, i wonder if you and i should team up and go make friends with salespeople for various retirement facilities. :) that seems like one of your bread and butter markets.

  • Tonya,

you likely only need something basic that you can edit yourself. check out my bizibeefloral.com website and tell me what you think.. click the pics..see how they get big? that's wordpress gallery 2 in action..wordpress has a lot of plugins..and it will save you lots of headaches and potentially lots of money in admin costs.

this is because a wordpress based site can be administered by you! you don't have to know any code. the software itself is free..

your first step is to obtain a url from Godaddy or Namecheap.com (my favorite)..once you purchase that, you need hosting..Dan can host you on the Biznik server if you'd like to support the cause. However, i can't say enough nice things about fellow biznik Jeevan. With him hosting is only 49.95 a year, and i can get you a code to get 3 months free.

when your hosting account is open, just send the nice folks at Wave an email, and they'll install Wordpress for you. while you are waiting for that, google "free wordpress templates"..if you see one you like, download it..and then get in touch with me. i'll be happy to show you what to do from there. basically, my guess is you are exactly 12-24 hours away from having your own site while only having spent 10$ for a url for a year...and $50 for hosting which you don't even pay for 3 mos..how's that sound?

do be aware there may be costs after that, but you'll be able to focus your dollars on what really matters if you want to stand out on the web: quality content.

good luck Tonya and feel free to hit me up for more info! be glad to buy you some coffee some time.

    good luck, Justin
