Ms. Wineland assists and counsels clients with a broad range of matters that span from acquiring to licensing to enforcing intellectual property rights. In addition to representing inventors before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to obtain patents and trademarks, she also has extensive experience in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation as part of the litigation group in a large international general practice law firm. Her other professional experiences include working as an engineer for a large aerospace company and in biomedical research.

Mrs. Wineland has brought her extensive legal and professional experience to bear on a wide range of patent-related matters, including both the "hi tech" and "biotech" arenas. Specific examples include semiconductors, internet based inventions, software, paid search or "pay per click" Internet advertising, DNA arrays, and antibody technology. Her substantial experience in trademark matters includes the enforcement of trademark rights against traffickers in counterfeit goods.
