We are constantly shaping our reality in response to our experience, often chasing an elusive sense of peace or happiness. If you find yourself wondering how to create true satisfaction in life, at some point you might decide you need help in clarifying what is truly important to you. That's where I come in.

I'm a shrink that will ask you to stretch - your self-concept, your beliefs about how the world works, and most certainly to go beyond your past experience so it doesn't become your future reality. The primary, specific goal of my work is to help you cultivate and become fluent in your own ability to re-imagine what is possible for you. I don't encourage you to "perfect" yourself (as if!) but rather to recognize and use the innate wisdom and unique talents you already possess to gain greater clarity, purpose and fulfillment in your life. Therapy for me is not about "analyzing" you, in fact you are the best expert when it comes to your life and you get to decide what you should do with it. Most people just need some fresh perspective or new skills to better handle what life presents, and I will help you explore in a variety of creative and engaging ways the means to accomplish that.

In my experience dissatisfaction and unrest are good news! They are your allies if you answer their call for change, your prison if you resist. If your current beliefs and behavior are not really supporting you, why not entertain some other more intriguing possibilities? I will help you find them

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist and have been in the social services field for over 19 years. I have a wide range of experience and have worked in a variety of mental health and educational settings including community mental health centers, non-profit social service agencies and schools. I have been in private practice since 1997.
