Kate Chapman attended Bush Middle and Lakeside Upper, moving on to Bard and UW before settling at Reed, where she completed her work in Russian Studies and the philosophy of language. Kate's intellectual nature is augmented by her liberal arts education, and she is able to work across all subject areas, specializing in mentoring bright students who seek personalized educational attention. She is an equal partner in the company and contributes significantly to its theories and models of education through her linguistics and philosophy background.
Education
Reed College earned a BA in Russian, 12/02 with emphasis on language and literature as well as linguistics and the philosphy of language. Wrote lengthy senior thesis.
University of Washington continued study of Russian and core requirements.
Bard College studied principally English and Russian.
