I am a writer, editor, teacher, consultant. More specifically:

Writer: I write and publish nonfiction information for writers, as well as feature film screenplays (mostly family adventures and mysteries). I've self-published since 1980 and have 5 books published by traditional publishers.

Editor: I am also an independent editor working with clients and businesses on all sorts of materials, including nonfiction books.

Teacher. I have taught English writing classes at the university level since 1994 (MA English Composition). I am a trainer for writers and businesses about writing, communication, creativity, brainstorming, and so on.

Consultant. I work as a writing coach for nonfiction book writers and self-publishers. I also work with screenwriters, production companies, and studios as a script consultant. I provide story notes and full script evaluations, along with a lot of hand holding.

Teaching, is all its forms, is what I am here for. I teach through my classroom teaching, my writing, and my coaching and consulting. This is what gives me a thrill, satisfies my life purpose, and keeps me going. I love to teach.

Writer: published since 1980 with books and articles, both published and self-published.

Teacher: I've taught at Modesto Junior College, Chapman University (Modesto Center), California State University Stanislaus, Saddleback College, and California State University Fullerton.

Consultant: I've consulted with self-publishers and screenwriters on a variety of projects. I've consulted with businesses on their business materials and manuals.
