After quitting my day job early in 2007 as a Director of Communications, I'm now an emerging artist. Most of my work is in the style that I call Peaked Paint. I use a palette knife to put individual dollops of oil paint onto the painting surface. I love bright colors and lots of texture and this allows me to create paintings with both these features.

If you take a look at my paintings you'll see that my motto of "Painting is Patience" is absolutely necessary for the type of work I do. I'm very patient.

Art Patrons! Or really just anyone that wants to own some original art or knows of places or people that want original art instead of prints from IKEA. Nothing against IKEA of course. I love the place for furniture but I'd rather sell my original art.

My BA in Public Administration from Drake University doesn't seem very applicable to my new venture.
